We are currently seeking a talented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and contribute to the optimization of our inventory management workflow. As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing the in-stock positions at Amazon FBA, which is a key strategic aspect of our company. Your top priority will be to ensure the always in stock rule is maintained, ensuring that our customers always have access to our products.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a strong understanding of inventory planning and management, and a passion for continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective management of inventory levels, supporting the delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute inventory management replenishment plans for Amazon fulfillment centers, regularly monitoring inventory levels and proactively reporting opportunities to optimize inventory.
– Maintain and track internal and Amazon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve optimal inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.
– Work with 3PLs and other partners to coordinate accurate and timely processing of orders and track replenishment shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers.
– Analyze and balance stock levels, considering excess inventory, inventory holding costs, and aging inventory, and make recommendations for adjustments.
– Build and maintain strong business relationships with 3PLs and other partners to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
– Reconcile shipments received at 3PLs and Amazon fulfillment centers and perform monthly inventory reconciliations with 3PLs and Amazon.
– Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Sales Team to cover sales forecasts and increase visibility into potential stock-out risks, overstock positions
– Monitor and report regularly on inventory levels and key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of inventory management processes.
Global Logistics Responsibilities:
– Obtain quotes for planned overseas shipments from our Freight Forwarders
– Improve key logistics metrics such as lead-time, out-of-stock, and landed costs for our products.
– Compare costs and transit times, and submit freight quotes for approval
– Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
– Maintain necessary shipping documents and records.
– Identify and communicate any supply risks and stock-out situations for mitigation purposes.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or planning, preferably with experience in Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).
– Knowledge of global logistics and supply chain operations.
– Analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets or other data analysis tools.
– Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP systems and other supply chain tools.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with partners.
– Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
