Job Description

Supply Chain/Logistics Manager
Company Overview:
As one of Australia’s leading functional ingredient companies, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach and commitment to quality. As we continue to grow and set new standards in the market, we’re on the hunt for a hands-on, grounded individual to join our team.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a dedicated Logistics coordinator or supply chain/logistics manager. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products get from A to B seamlessly. You’ll be in charge of booking shipments, keeping an eye on each one, and acting as the bridge between our suppliers and freight companies. If you know your way around shipment documentation and have an eye for detail, we want to hear from you. And hey, if you can speak Chinese, that’s a big plus – but it’s not a deal-breaker.
Key Responsibilities:
• Booking Full Container Loads (FCL) and Less than Container Loads (LCL) shipments.
• Tracking each shipment from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
• Serving as the primary point of contact between suppliers and freight companies.
• Preparing and managing all necessary shipment documents.
• Solving any issues or hiccups that might pop up during the shipping process.
• (Optional) Using Chinese language skills to liaise with Chinese suppliers or freight companies when necessary.
• Champion the continuous refinement of logistics and delivery systems, ensuring efficient dispatch of products to clients.
• Oversee intricate procurement tasks, including recording transactions, storage dynamics, distribution, and contract implementation.
• Streamline inventory management processes to avoid stock redundancies or deficits.
• Foster robust relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain a meticulous record of daily consignments to facilitate inventory reconciliation.

Professional Profile:
• A formal qualification in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent is highly regarded.
• A collegiate degree complemented by 2-5 years of experience in international trade with a profound understanding of the integrated processes.
• A solution-oriented mindset, complemented by pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Exemplary interpersonal aptitudes, fortified by exceptional communication and negotiation proficiencies.
• Practical and down-to-earth approach to work.
• Familiar with the ins and outs of FCL and LCL shipments.
• Good organizational skills – you can keep track of multiple shipments at once.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate between various parties.
• Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to preparing and checking documents.
• Speaking Chinese would be an advantage, but it’s not a must-have.
Benefits:
• Become a part of a close-knit team in a growing company.
• The flexibility and convenience of remote work.
• Competitive pay for the right individual.
