In this exciting role, you would join the team that is responsible for generating detailed reporting to help solve the ongoing puzzle of ensuring our global supply chain is well-stocked with our best selling items. This engaging position requires an individual who is a thoughtful, resourceful, positive communicator with a strong interest in data science and always-evolving analytics that also enjoys solving problems under his or her own initiative to help plan our global inventory needs.
Job Responsibilities:
> Utilize historical sales trend and weekly sell-thru reporting to develop and execute weekly demand planning for each of our global sales channels including brick-and-mortal retail, wholesale, and online eCommerce.
> Compile and review weekly reporting on sales performance and inventory distribution metrics.
Forecast and manage global inventory data to ensure all required stock level goals are regularly maintained.
> Manage excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory and propose action plans to mitigate risk, meet and exceed inventory health targets, and ensure maximum profitability.
> Analyze current warehouse capacity constraints and vendor order requirements such as lead-times and minimum order quantity to develop inventory purchasing forecasts.
> Assist the Accounting department with ongoing audits, inventory control, and reconciliations.
> Analyze performance of sales growth, eCommerce PPC campaigns, lead generation, and other advertising campaigns and suggest strategies for improvement based on your ongoing analysis of how these sales activities affect inventory sell-through and the global supply chain.
> Diagnose and assist with time sensitive issues relating to data errors and impact on sales trends.
Basic Requirements:
> Education: College degree in business, finance, data science, or related fields of study.
> At least 2 years experience in consumer goods demand planning, inventory/sales forecasting, or supply chain management.
> Deep analytical skills and a strong problem-solving ability.
> Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, tenaciously follow-up, and meet > competing deadlines.
> Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel (Advanced Formulas, Tables & Formatting, Conditional Formatting, Advanced Charting, Pivot tables & Pivot Reporting, VLOOKUP, etc).
> Excellent oral and written communication skills.
> Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
