Job Description

Who Are We?
Nordic Quality is an extremely awesome, up-and-coming, online-based company selling physical products under several of our brands. The main one of which is in the gym and fitness category.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Operator, who is awesome like us, to join the team. He/she will be working full-time for 40 hours a week, 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and must have the following qualifications:

-With procurement, purchasing, buyer, or equivalent experience
-Financial acumen and expertise in the cost-reduction initiative
-Excellent knowledge and understanding of e-commerce supply chain operations
-Strong communication skills (oral & written)
-Experience working cross-functionally and/or matrixed organizations
-Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
-Excellent organizational and project management skills, with critical attention to detail and impossibly high standards
-A strategic and analytical mind, comfortable with large data sets and rapid experimentation

He/ She must also have the following:
– Stable Internet connection (Having a backup is a plus!)
– A reliable laptop (Having a backup is a plus!)
– Headphones/earphones (for meetings)

What would the task be?

-Remotely manage the third-party logistics of the Client’s supply chain
-Manage product inventory and optimize for low COGS, 100% in-stock rate & positive cash flow
-Oversees warehousing, forecasting, shipments, inventory management, and process optimization operations.
-Provide leadership to realize continuous improvement of supply chain processes, emphasizing the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
-Assist with qualification efforts of multiple sources, including maintaining a depository of specifications, tracking sampling, and approvals.
-Coordinate with the product management team to obtain feedback regarding the quality of the products the suppliers are creating, then relay feedback to suppliers to improve product quality
-Make recommendations to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
-Create plans for shipments, new orders, and quality control negotiations and record-keeping related to supply chain and logistics
– Assess, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks. Minimize/Eliminate rogue spending and unnecessary spending with non-preferred suppliers, as well as excessive freight and supply chain expenses
– Assist the new brands in using the tools for their forecasting, order placement, shipment monitoring, and inventory monitoring activities on Amazon.
