Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and analytical Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this 100% remote position, you will be responsible for coordinating shipping and procurement activities, managing inventory levels, sourcing new products, and ensuring smooth communication with our suppliers and logistics partners.

About Our Company:
We are a growing e-commerce business specializing in hardware related products. Our primary sales channels include Amazon, eBay and an own Webshop is in process, with a strong presence in Germany and expanding operations in France, Spain, and Italy. We work closely with suppliers in China and plan to expand our product offerings in the future. Our focus is on providing high-quality products and excellent customer service to our clients.

Work Circumstances:
– 100% remote, with minimal meetings required
– 15-30 hours per week
– Payment: $5-17 per hour, depending on experience and work ethic (salary may increase quickly for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor inventory levels and sales data to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
2. Coordinate shipping and logistics, including document management, order scaling, packaging optimization, and liaising with forwarders.
3. Manage stock in our European warehouse, ensuring smooth distribution to our 3PL partner for eBay and online shop orders and to Amazon logistics warehouses for Amazon orders.
4. Source new products by searching for suppliers on Alibaba, obtaining quotes, calculating total order costs, and evaluating the best options.
5. Perform margin calculations using provided templates and handle sample procurement, including payment organization and customs clearance documentation.
