JOB POSTING

We are seeking an exceptional Supply Chain VA (Virtual Assistant) to join our team and spearhead the management and enhancement of our supply chain operations. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our procurement activities from China and coordinating the seamless transportation of goods to the US, where we replenish our inventory for distribution across various platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and more.

Your primary objective will be to possess a deep understanding of our inventory at a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) level. By utilizing this knowledge, you will conduct accurate inventory forecasting, considering lead times and leveraging manufacturer relationships to maintain an optimal inventory level that ensures continuous availability of our products without experiencing stockouts.

We are offering a full-time position for a supply chain professional with a starting monthly salary ranging from $600 to $1200. Initially, the first month will serve as an evaluation period to assess the compatibility of the candidate with our organization.

Moreover, as our company expands, you will play a vital role in training and onboarding additional team members in your domain as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand PER SUPPLIER lead time.
• Understand seasonal international shipment delays and lead times.
• Understand all methods of transportation via ocean & air, China to USA, and their pros/cons and related costs to consider when arranging our supply chain.
• Maintain buffer stock & understand in-warehouse stock.
• Coordinate/report inventory delays and develop solutions for delays.
• Collaborate with Sales Team, Planning & Marketing teams the inventory planning as we grow the business.
• Establish a strategy for optimizing Supply Chain to minimize cost and maximize in-stock status.
• Order Management (request & process purchase orders, record PO, maintain shipment schedule, track inventory shipments, etc.)
• Save & record shipment documents (PODs, BOLs, POs, PIs)
• Identify discrepancies of shipments & inventory
• Reconciliate inventory (destroyed, damaged, missing, etc.)
• Record & track defects, discuss defects with manufacturer & come-up with plan to improve inventory, get credit on purchase orders for defective inventory during re-orders. Report important defects found.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain
• Experience with Amazon & Ecommerce based businesses.
• Desire to learn, grow, juggle multiple tasks at times, and able to commit to a schedule.
• Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with others.
• Incorporates feedback and have a constant desire to learn and improve.
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technology, English
• Highly organized and disciplined, can manage time and productivity.
• A stable internet connection/speed, a computer and basic computer skills are required.
• Availability for 8 hours/day 5 days/week
• Able to chat/meet at a pre-scheduled time for meetings, working sessions, live chats.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Job Type: Remote, Contract, Full-Time, – Work from home or anywhere.
• Monthly Salary: $600 – $1200 USD per month.
• Additional Income: Mid-year & 13th month pay performance bonus.
• Payment Schedule: Paid monthly on 5th.
• Annual performance appraisal-based pay raise
• Work schedule: Prefer Monday – Friday (40 hours/week) with weekend off, but open to discuss another schedule.
