This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled System & Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software applications and infrastructure, with a focus on maintaining server health and resolving technical issues. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Applications Support, User Support, and New Product Development.

Requirements
Previous experience in Application Support and Customer Communication.
Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
Windows Server administration experience, including PowerShell and VB Scripting (Highly Desirable).
Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Security Groups, System Manager, IAM, and Lambda (Highly Desirable).
Linux Server Administration and Bash scripting experience (Desirable).
Proficiency in GIT for production release deployment (Desirable).
Understanding of network technologies and various VPN solutions (Desirable).
Experience in administering Office 365, JIRA, and other cloud-based products (Desirable).
Past application development experience in any programming language (Desirable).
Willingness to work in a shift roster, including weekends, to provide continuous support.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot our software deployed across 40 AWS servers globally, ensuring uninterrupted service.
Collaborate with the operations team to keep all associated applications and automation tasks running smoothly.
Perform system administration tasks on both Windows and Linux servers.
Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, VB Scripting, Bash, etc.) for automation and system management.
Work in a shift roster, including weekends, to provide continuous support.
Communicate with customers to provide application support and address technical inquiries.
Assist in the deployment of production releases using GIT.
Monitor and manage AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Security Groups, System Manager, IAM, and Lambda.
Gain a deep understanding of network technologies, components, and various VPN solutions.
Administer cloud-based products such as Office 365, JIRA, and others.
Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues promptly.
Collaborate with the team to improve server performance, security, and scalability.
Continuously expand your knowledge and skills in scripting, AWS server management, and infrastructure support.
