Job Description

This will be a long-term, highly stable position if you’re the right person and want it to be. We would prefer that.

We are seeking a full time IT professional to administer and maintain our technical infrastructure.

This position will primarily support a non-profit foundation and a small university in the USA. The school currently does not have IT administrator, and you will be the only one.

Technical systems will include:
– Accounting systems (Quickbooks online)
– Student registration and enrollment systems (Populi)
– Public facing websites (DNS, servers, as well as website design, updates and changes)
– Student information systems, including class systems (Moodle, Canvas)
– General infrastructure such as Gsuite
– Email list and sales software
– Payment gateways (Stripe)

Responsibilities include:
– Full, comprehensive remote IT administration for all departments
– Remote user support (public, staff and students)
– Maintaining, expanding, securing and scaling our websites, Cpanel, DNS, and related core infrastructure
– Conducting performance tests and monitoring, troubleshooting content issues, and optimizing for speed and scalability
– Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and glitches
– Testing, deployment, integration with, updating, and maintaining our other services such as SaaS autoresponders, content management systems, membership systems, sales systems, social media platforms, tracking
– Connecting all the pieces together and maintaining a smooth flow between them, for example: funnels to tools such as sales CRM’s, email marketing, etc. (as well as cleaning the data via automations)
– Creating WordPress and other website layouts and user interfaces
– Ensuring cross-browser and platform optimization
– Keeping up with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
– Communicating, troubleshooting and resolving bugs and issues

You must be a strong independent worker for this position. You will be working 100% remotely, managing your tasks to meet deadlines and potentially in a different time zone than many of your colleagues.

It’s a bonus if you have one or more of the following skills (not required):
– Experience with the fundamentals (or more) of online marketing
– Up-to-date understanding of SEO principles
– Advanced online tracking/analytics skills
– Design skills, graphic arts capability, video editing skills, etc.
– Social media management skills
– Knowledge of or interest in the English speaking spiritual marketplace

All the standard stuff applies that you’d expect from an experienced employer (weekly pay for the first month, bi-weekly pay for the second and third month, monthly pay after that; 13th month pay; most holidays; stipends for: Philhealth, Pag-Ipg, Social Security, HMO Coverage; plus up to cover PayPal transfer fees, etc.)
