Job Overview:
As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (formerly known as Dynamics AX) solutions for our clients. Your primary focus will be on architecting scalable and robust systems tailored to meet our clients’ specific business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations implementations.
– Design and architect scalable and efficient solutions using Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations modules, including but not limited to financial management, supply chain management, procurement, sales, and project management.
– Develop and document system architecture blueprints, including data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks.
– Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
– Conduct system performance analysis and optimization to ensure optimal system efficiency and reliability.
-Collaborate with business analysts to define and implement data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during system transition.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, identifying opportunities to leverage new features and functionalities to enhance system capabilities.
– Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, providing guidance and training to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is a plus.
– Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Systems Architect, Solution Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations.
– In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations modules and functionalities, including Finance, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Accounting, Sales, and Procurement.
– Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architecture patterns, and best practices.
– Proficiency in designing and implementing integrations between Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations and other third-party systems.
– Experience with data migration strategies, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-500) are highly desirable.
– Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure, Power Platform, and SQL Server.
– Familiarity with industry-specific implementations of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, such as manufacturing, retail, or healthcare.
