Polished Geek is a thriving, growing monday(.com) Gold partner and we’re looking for a very talented person to fill an important new internal role. The monday(.com) platform is constantly changing and growing all the time, and our team of consultants and sales reps need someone to help them keep up with the latest developments and changes, in a more productive and organized way.
The responsibilities of this role include:
1) Follow all monday(.com) communication channels (Slack, partner meetings, community events, training sessions, feature announcements, etc.) to ensure that you are immediately aware of any new changes in the Monday platform.
2) For all new features and changes, you will personally test them out, then learn and master exactly how they work in the platform. In this role, you will become our resident top-level system expert in all monday features and functionality. You will become the go-to person for our team when they are not sure how a new product feature works, what’s changed and what’s coming soon.
3) On a regular basis (probably weekly), you will conduct a demo and training session for the entire Polished Geek team showing how all new features and changes may impact their consulting efforts with clients. These demo and training sessions will be done live on Zoom.
4) You will create a central knowledgebase for new changes and features for the team (using Monday of course), where they can quickly find all platform updates, read relevant documentation, view video clips, find prior demo session recordings, etc.
5) Once you have gained a mastery of the platform, this role will also work with the Marketing Manager to create client-facing demo clips for social media, review blog posts for platform accuracy, etc.
6) Help keep track of team member’s training and certification progress, skills inventory and training goals.
7) Provide insights and content assistance to the Marketing Manager to update blog posts with new release information, brainstorm on new topic ideas for the blog, etc.
8) Keep track of which clients of Polished Geek are waiting for alpha, beta and future release features in Monday, and communicate with them when they can enroll and signup to be early adopters of new features.
This position will have minimal client-facing duties but may be called into client meetings from time to time to help explain a feature or concept if needed.
Desired skills and aptitude:
– Excellent English – must be fluent and easy to understand
– Experience conducting training sessions and demos for peers and team members on technical topics like software
– Aptitude and experience learning SaaS products at an expert level. Ability to keep up with a fast-changing platform like monday(.com)
– Able to learn systems and technology topics quickly and independently
– Highly organized and able to gather, research, grasp and communicate complex topics in an easy to understand way for others
– Experienced in presenting information in a “train the trainer” type format
– Team-oriented, patient and thorough
– You must genuinely enjoy helping others grow and succeed; be able to enjoy and have pride in becoming the “hidden superpower” behind our successful consulting team
All training will be provided as part of your job.
We seek reliable team players who enjoy working remotely in a small business environment. You must have excellent home office internet service and be willing to work full time, USA timezone hours Monday – Friday.
