As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated IT Systems Engineer/Specialist to become our TravCom Champion for one of our clients.
Position Overview:
The IT Systems Engineer/Specialist (TravCom Champion) will be responsible for mastering the functionality of TravCom, ensuring its optimal use within our operations, and supporting our clients in leveraging the full potential of the software.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of travel agency operations.
Key Responsibilities:
TravCom Expertise:
– Gain an in-depth understanding of all features and functionalities of TravCom and Client Majic.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all TravCom-related queries and issues.
– Stay updated with new TravCom updates, features, and best practices.
System Integration and Optimization:
– Integrate TravCom with other business systems and tools to streamline operations.
– Identify and implement optimization strategies to enhance system performance and efficiency.
– Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Support and Training:
– Provide technical support and troubleshooting for TravCom-related issues.
– Develop and deliver training programs and materials for staff and clients.
– Assist clients in customizing TravCom to meet their specific needs.
Data Management and Reporting:
– Ensure proper data management practices are followed within TravCom.
– Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into system usage and performance.
– Collaborate with the team to develop custom reports as needed.
Project Management:
– Lead projects related to TravCom implementation and upgrades.
– Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
– Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks promptly.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or Specialist, preferably in the travel industry.
– Strong technical proficiency in TravCom or similar travel management software.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Experience with system integration, data management, and optimization.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Project management experience is a plus.
