T-Shirt Designer / Illustrator

I am looking for a part time designer/illustrator for the creation of various styles of t-shirt designs. I know during this time a lot of business are suffering from the corona crisis, but be assured that your job is stable/safe.

I run a small Merch business where I sell my products via various platforms such as Merch by Amazon, Spreadshirt, Redbubble and Teepublic. Your job would be to deliver new designs on a regular basis (about 10-15 per day) based on the guidance and topics I provide.

You should have STRONG ILLUSTRATION AND ideally also TYPOGRAPHY skills, as nearly all designs require some form of text. Your overall skills in both areas will determine whether you are hired or not.

Please note that in the Merch industry, copyright and trademark laws are very strict. Carbon copies or obviously traced references (e.g. pixel by pixel copies, blatant copies of already existing designs) are absolutely prohibited and will result in your immediate termination. I have a zero tolerance policy on any copyright and trademark infringements

What will be expected from you:

– Good command of the English language.
– Decent internet connection.
– Proofread and Grammar Check the Designs created by you.
– A creative mind and unique design ideas.
– We are working with various tools such as Trello and Microsoft OneDrive
– Delivery of at least 75 designs per week (depending on complexity of designs)
– All designs must be in [AI / PSD] format

Your designs must be 100% unique and created by yourself. You may use references, however the final designs must VERY different from the reference.

Don’t lie and don’t cheat. I can find almost every copy with the help of Google Image Search or TinyEye.

If you are familiar with the Merch industry you know that the complexity of designs varies a lot, therefore we implemented the following system for a fair and transparent salary:

– 1,5$ for Text+Vector Elements

I will also provide you with access to various Vector Elements and Fonts to make your designing experience easier.

What you will receive:

? Flexible working hours

? Up to $1.5 per design, paid out monthly.

If you are selected for the 2nd stage of the process, you will be asked to create 3 test designs. Don’t worry, you will be paid $2 per design for this test
