I do challenge-based content, blending storytelling with a comedic twist and high-energy graphics. So far I’ve edited almost all my videos, and with the help of CreatorDao I will be taking the channel to the next level! This will be hopefully long-term and project based, 1-2 videos per month. I am looking for someone who as even better editor than I am – you feel comfortable taking a bunch of raw footage + an outline… to create an amazing 10-20 minute well-edited and storytelling YouTube video. [This is a REPOST, note if you have applied for my cinematic editor position I am still looking through those, however this is for a separate project.]
Ideal candidate edits in Premiere Pro, loves learning, is creatively ambitious, and willing to diving into the challenge niche. References include:

IMPORTANT: I believe a good editor has two skillsets. Most editors I have seen on this platform are only good at #1, but I am looking for someone who is able to do both #1 and #2:
#1 You are a great Premiere Pro Editor.
-You are able to make cuts, add graphics, SFX, text as needed on screen. A knack for retention editing – keeping the viewer’s attention throughout. You understand Running Man type of comedic editing: /@SBSRunningMan
-Ideally, you at least have a basic-level knowledge in motion graphics.
-Detail oriented – color correction + audio leveling + polishing at the end for YouTube.
#2 You are an Amazing Storyteller.
-Able to write VO for me to record after the first drafts, to help drive the story forward. You understand hooks and mini-payoffs, and how to build suspense through videos until the ending payoff: /watch?v=S6Uq8cniC1Y&pp=ygUPZ2VvcmdlIGJsYWNrbWFu (scriptwriter video but has good storytelling advice)
-Able to create great 15-30 seconds intros at the start of the video – you know what makes an amazing hook
-You are a self-proclaimed great storyteller – you know how to keep the viewer at the edge of their seat and how to edit for emotions
-Underrated skill, but you are great sound designer. Music is very important to “make” a scene. Perhaps you even follow Hayden Hillier Smith and obsess over the perfect music choice for a scene: /@HillierSmith/videos
The ideal candidate consistently looks to improve videos, are a perfectionist, doesn’t mind frameIO notes and able to learn quickly from feedback, and are ready to become the next great editor like Hayden Hillier Smith or Zach Levitt!
