Tax Preparer

Job Description:

We seek a skilled and motivated Remote Tax Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and planning for business clients, particularly those structured as partnerships, S-corporations, and Schedule C entities. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while being an integral part of a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, and Schedule C clients.
Conduct thorough tax planning and provide strategic tax advice to business clients.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide solutions to complex tax issues.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax filings.
Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and implement changes as needed.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or EA certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and planning for business clients.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
