Job Summary:
Are you passionate about education and training? Do you have experience in vocational education and training, specifically in the BSB (Business Services), SIT (Tourism, Travel and Hospitality) and TLI (Transport and Logistics) training packages? We are currently seeking a Learning and Assessment Writer / Instructional Designer to join our crew.

You will play a vital role in developing high-quality learning and assessment materials. In addition to this, you should have a stable internet connection and own a computer system.

As an Online Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing teaching materials in a most innovative manner. You will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing student’s performance reports.

Apart from this, you should possess phenomenal communication skills and excellent time management abilities. You should be able to pay close attention to details and understand student’s difficulties.

Your work will contribute to the success of students pursuing vocational education and training with our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop learning and assessment tools and resources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers (as required) to ensure assessments align with industry standards and requirements.
• Conduct research and analysis to ensure assessment materials meet regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• Write clear and concise assessment instructions and marking criteria.
• Develop a range of assessment formats, including written assessments, case studies, practical demonstrations, and projects. Develop assessment tasks that can be conducted in a simulated workplace environment.
• Review and update existing assessment materials to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure timely delivery of assessment materials.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Hospitality industry is desired but not essential.
• Experience in developing learning and assessment materials for vocational education and training programs.
• Familiarity with the Australian VET sector, including regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free assessment materials.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with relevant software tools.
