WHO WE ARE:

Our small company is growing and we’re looking for a superstar to join us. We’ve got big goals and a small team—it’s just 5 of us and you’d make #6. What that means is that you’ll have to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done. If you love fancy titles and your pride won’t let you take on anything else outside of that then this is not the place for you.

ABOUT YOU & THE JOB:

The role we’re looking to fill is perfect for the person who doesn’t take “no” for an answer when they need to get something done. Roadblocks? You actually laugh in the face of roadblocks and get a thrill out finding a way through, over, or around them. You’re a problem-solver by nature and don’t wait for the answers to fall in your lap—you seek them out as a matter of course. This is an administrative role on the real estate investing side of our business and has a heavy interpersonal component. There are many important documents—like legal contracts—and people to keep track of so that things keep moving on schedule and in the right direction. Long story short, without you, as the saying goes, ‘things could go to hell in a handbasket.’

The job is actually simple, but not necessarily easy. You’ll need to be highly organized with superior prioritization skills, and proactive. There’s a substantial amount of time spent on the phone, so comfort and ease in talking with multiple stakeholders is a must. Sometimes we run into people who drag their feet, which of course puts a spoke in your wheel. You’re right for this role if you’re the type of person who understands the value of building and maintaining relationships, and can be pleasant yet firm to get people moving where we need them to be. You’ve got an eye for details, and your M.O. is that you work Plan A like a boss—but keep Plan B, Plan C, and Plan D, etc. in your back pocket in case you need to turn on a dime. You. Read. Everything…literally! You’re that stickler who crosses every “t” and dots every “i” because you understand that when you don’t do that, things can come back to bite you on the butt. At the same time, you truly understand the value of time, so efficiency is at the top of your list.

We’re definitely not looking for someone who thinks working remotely is a free pass to slack off.
