Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative Team Lead for an English (U.S.) medical account for a full time role that will lead a new team in a “train-the-trainer” type model. The Team Lead will act as a single point of contact for the Customer for escalations and to communicate with both HelpSquad VA(s) and Customer team. The Team Lead will also handle team supervision, management and support, program quality assurance (QA) and VA coaching. Hours are 9am-5pm CST USA Monday through Friday in a work from home role. You will be responsible for communicating with both your Client manager as well as HelpSquad’s managers. You’ll need to be empathetic, professional, and courteous at all times. Some previous medical experience is helpful, but you must have great spoken English as well as English comprehension. We will be checking for accents as the client is a bit “accent sensitive” You will be required to take HIPAA training, which will be provided to you. Team Lead will be required to know all the things the Virtual Assistants know and more. You will start with the client April 15th, and go live is April 16th

Other Requirements,
Must have previous experience of at least a year of leading a team of 5+ members that did phone calls / voice support (looking to grow rapidly)
Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including holidays
Must be able to train other new VAs post training (Train the Trainer type model)
Punctual
Reliable
Great English Speaking skills
Must be Communicative
Must be Caring and empathetic
Understands the importance of HIPAA and privacy laws (post training)
Must have a great headset with great voice and sound quality / clarity
Must have an internet connection of at least 50 mpbs down and up.
MUST have backups for both internet and power. This is non-negotiable
Technology requirements:
at least 8gb ram if i5
at least 16 ram if i3
Laptop / PC less than 5 years old
Patience with the elderly

Non-requirements, but helpful:
Some medical experience is a plus
Detail oriented
Knowing how to navigate and read an EHR
