I.T. Matters, Inc., a leading company offering Managed IT Services, Backup and Disaster
Recovery Solutions, Cloud Hosting, Telephony Services, and IT Security Services to Small
and Medium Businesses in the greater Houston, Texas area (within the central time zone),
is undergoing team expansion. Established in 2012, we are devoted to providing
exceptional technical solutions to our clients.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Admin to join our team. The Technical Admin
will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our technical department by
monitoring, managing, and maintaining the quality of tasks executed by our Tech
Engineers. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and a
keen eye for detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Task Monitoring:
– Continuously monitor ongoing tasks and projects within the technical department.
– Maintain a detailed log of task progress and completion status.

Task Management
– Coordinate with Tech Engineers to assign and prioritize tasks based on urgency and
importance.
– Ensure that tasks are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
– Identify and address any bottlenecks or obstacles hindering task completion.

Quality Control
– Maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standard of work.
– Review completed tasks for accuracy, adherence to standards, and quality of output.
– Work with Tech Engineers to maintain consistent work quality.

Documentation
– Maintain accurate records and documentation related to tasks, projects, and quality
control procedures.
– Create reports summarizing task performance and quality metrics.

Communication
– Help foster better communication between Tech Engineers and other relevant
departments.
– Collaborate with team members to address issues, share insights, and optimize
processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
– Quickly identify areas of inaccuracy and/or improvement.
– Sufficient technical knowledge or background.
– Proven experience in task management and quality control.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
– Experience with ConnectWise Manage, Automate or equivalent
– Experience with IT Glue or equivalent
– Experience with Microsoft Office 365
