Technical Content Writer for Documentation

Sona provides a demand-generation software platform for sales and marketing teams. We collect, combine, and distill the right data to make it easier for go-to-market teams to 1) attribute revenue to their activities 2) improve the ROI on their investments and 3) convert more deals with the right data.

We’re looking to hire an exceptional technical writer who’s a hardworking, motivated, consistent, and experienced individual to join our team. In this role, you’ll help drive all aspects of the documentation process, including ideation, development, and maintenance. You’ll report into our content team and this role is critical in supporting our growth through enabling our customers to onboard and continue to leverage our demand generation platform, as efficiently as possible.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Thoroughly research and understand product features related to the Sona platform
– Research topics related to B2B demand generation
– Distill information from multiple sources to produce concise, accurate, and timely documentation.
– Become an expert on the products and features you document.
– Transform complex features and requirements into understandable technical prose.
– Identify areas of improvement within existing documentation processes and content.
– Lead peer reviews of content, ensure the work you produce meets the right standard. Own documentation for one or more areas within the product.
– Be an advocate for our technical documentation team, use your skills to help other employees produce great documentation, and help our customers become successful users of the platform.
– Ensure docs are delivered on time and accurately.

**Qualifications:**
– 3+ years experience in a Technical Writing role documenting B2B SaaS products.
– Very strong attention to detail and strong project management skills.
– Experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including product managers, software engineers, and technical support engineers.
– Strong ideation skills for content creation and working collaboratively with content teams.
– Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions.
– Reading, writing, and speaking English at an advanced mastery level
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– PLUS: Experience writing API documentation or working with APIs.
