Job Description

Carver Water Technology LLC, a leading innovator in water and wastewater treatment solutions, is seeking a dedicated and technically adept Procurement Specialist to join our global team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless procurement of high-quality water treatment equipment and materials from global sub-vendors, supporting our mission to provide sustainable and efficient water solutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement and Supply Chain Management:

Knowledgeably source pumps, valves, piping, gaskets, and other essential water treatment equipment.
Create, review, and process Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals from subcontractors.
Perform quantity takeoffs and create exhibits for the operations team.
Manage submittal registries, procurement, and close-out logs; support the team in the close-out process.
Demonstrate commitment to streamlined processes and successful project execution.
Excel in sourcing, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation to optimize procurement efficiency.
Project Coordination:

Coordinate on-site inspections, measurements, markings, installations, and turnovers.
Assist with 3D/2D modeling of piping layouts and document preparation for Civil and Electrical Departments.
Technical Assistance:

Support various technical tasks across different projects, demonstrating flexibility and precision.
Must-Have Qualifications:

Deep understanding of the technical aspects of water treatment equipment.
Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D drawings.
Proficiency in software tools including PDF Viewer, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Projects or Asana.
Preferred Skills:

General knowledge of PLC systems and components.
Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Requirements:

Proven experience in technical procurement, especially in water treatment or related industries.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
High level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
