Our Project Manager will be a well-rounded strategic team member with a high level of attention to detail and operational organization. The project manager will be responsible for the daily management of the PMO’s projects and team members. Ownership of project timeline, budget, deliverables, reporting, and training within the PMO are integral components of this role’s responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of Scrumban practice and metric tracking and reporting is a necessary component of the scope of work.
You should have:
– Three or more years of project management experience
– Demonstrated expertise working with Kanban, Scrum, and/or Scrumban
– Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
– Proven success working with all levels of management
– Proven track record of developing and implementing plans to achieve business goals and objectives with clear and tangible metrics
– Expert problem-solving and scoping skills
– Solid experience in project/stakeholder management, process improvement, planning, and performance management
– Adaptable and experienced within start-up environment
– Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
– Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
– Two+ years of people management experience
Responsibilities
– Create and manage project scopes, plans, objectives, and documentation throughout complete project life cycles.
– Intake and scope project boards and project charters, managing stakeholder relationships.
– Manage the Scrumban board, sprint planning, and execution of PMO projects.
– Daily management of project coordinators and their employee roadmaps.
– Lead projects from intake through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, strategy, and risk mitigation.
– Lead project meetings and reporting with project stakeholders.
– Manage and lead sprints and retrospective meetings.
– Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing strategy, management, and motivation.
– Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
– Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
– Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and quality of deliverables and
outcomes.
– Report project outcomes and risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan and reporting cadences.
– Ensure and upkeep PMO organization across the department including PMO processes, training, reporting, and project closures.
– Management of mirco-projects and deliverables within allotting proper resource allocation.
– Responsible for documentation and training throughout the PMO.
