General Summary
I.T. Matters, Inc., founded in 2012, is an IT Consulting Company that offers Managed IT Services,
Backup and Disaster Recovery, Cloud Hosting, Telephony, and IT Security Services to Small and Medium
Business in the greater Houston area and along the Gulf Coast. We are expanding and looking to grow our
team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Communicating with management to identify future job openings and the technical requirements
for those jobs.
? Forecasting recruitment budgets.
? Developing and writing in-depth knowledge of the technical job descriptions and specifications to
include experience, skills, and behavioral competencies needed for success in each role.
? Handling the upload of job postings in relevant media platforms.
? Screening applicants for competency and compatibility with the required job qualifications.
? Arranging telephone, video, and/or in-person interviews with potential applicants.
? Performing background and reference checks.
? Presenting the resume of the most suitable candidates to management.
? Negotiate unique compensation packages (wages, benefits, etc.) to attract potential applicants.
? Offering job position and completing the relevant paperwork needed for onboarding.
? Keeping track of all applicants as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
? Ensure the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the
recruitment process (Hiring database, ERP Database, Personality Assessment, Source Track)
? Must diligently deliver and submit metrics on the hiring process to management.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirement listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
? Strong headhunting and sourcing expertise.
? Basic knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
? Knowledge and familiarity with office automation tools – Microsoft 365.
? Ability to read and display positive body language.
? Broad understanding of all industries and domains, specific experience placing candidates in I.T.
roles.
? Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.
? Ability to learn technical information.
? Strong analytical and planning skills.
? Strong and clear written and verbal communications.
? Ability to effectively interface with many technical and management personalities.
? Able to multi-task, use sound judgement, and be able to prioritize effectively.
? Strong desire to achieve success both personally, professionally and for the good of the company.
Educational / Vocational / Previous Experience Recommendations:
? College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any customer facing role.
? At least 1 year of technical recruiting experience, preferably in-house with an IT company.
Compensation:
Philippines – based compensation: $1,000 – $1,500 (Average Monthly) $12,000 – $18,000 (Average Annual)
