Hiring Manager (Technical)
Overview:
We get about 100 applications per week through LinkedIn for technical roles. Your job will be to follow our vetting process for candidate applications and add qualified candidates to a specific Google Sheet.
You will then follow our process for setting up a technical interview with those who qualify which includes them completing a live technical test we have designed.
You will need to have adequate technical background to assess the candidates performance based on your judgment and our guidelines.
For candidates that pass the technical interview, you must then arrange a Behavior Interview between me and the candidate (you will have access to my schedule).
All of these steps are based on well documented SOPs you will be trained on.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will be to vet a constant supply of candidates and applications from LinkedIn for Software Developer, UI/UX Designer and other technical roles.
– Efficiently screen and vet candidates for technical competence ensuring alignment with role requirements.
– Manage the interview process, including conducting initial and technical rounds and coordinating further interview stages with hiring team.
– Collaborate closely with management, comprehending specific role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
– Extend job offers and manage negotiations, aligning offers with company standards and candidate expectations.
– Facilitate seamless onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
Recruitment Expertise:
– Proven experience in technical recruitment, particularly within the software development sector, and a track record of successfully filling technical roles.
Technical Knowledge:
– Robust understanding and practical experience in full-stack development, with an emphasis on the MERN stack (MongoDB, , ReactJS, ), AWS ecosystem and PaaS providers such as Heroku, Netlify, Vercel, etc.
Communication Skills:
– Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective interaction with candidates and internal teams.
Organizational Proficiency:
– Robust organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing multiple vacancies, candidates, and hiring processes simultaneously.
Qualifications
– Prior experience in Software Development is preferred.
