Technical SEO Specialist (Shopify Focus) – Part-time leading into full-time.

We seek a skilled Technical SEO Specialist to join our growing SEO agency, which primarily works with Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and optimizing Shopify stores from a technical SEO point of view. Proficiency in Shopify is a must. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work under the guidance of our SEO expert with 18 years of experience and grow into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough Ahrefs research and analysis of potential clients’ Shopify stores, including existing power, links, pages, and products
– Perform in-depth competitor analysis to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for improvement
– Run comprehensive audits on potential clients’ Shopify websites to identify technical issues and estimate the time and resources required for optimization
– Determine the number and quality of links needed to outrank competitors based on the analysis conducted
– Collect and organize research findings and audit results to be included in client proposals
– Optimize Shopify products, collections, and pages for specific keywords using content, titles, and other on-page elements
– Investigate the reasons behind Shopify store traffic fluctuations and provide actionable insights

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Technical SEO Specialist, with a strong understanding of Ahrefs and Shopify
– Proficiency in optimizing Shopify stores for search engines
– Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
– Meticulous and well-organized, with the ability to work independently and efficiently
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
– Strong English language skills and a deep understanding of Western culture and products
– Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
– Ability to work on the UK timezone, starting the day at 12pm Philippine time

Initially, the role will be part-time, requiring 4 hours per day for the first few months. As the candidate demonstrates their skills and value, the position will progress into a full-time role.
