Technical SEO Specialist

Hello,
I hope you are having a wonderful day and I appreciate the time you’re taking to review my job posting and I hope we can work together on this project and future projects together. This project will be a few months and once complete we will have more for you in the future if you can prove yourself and your skillset.

The business:
We are a business located in Australia that sells replacement wipers for cars. A customer can enter their vehicle information and we will suggest the correct wiper blades to fit their vehicle and deliver them fast. The business operates online and does not yet have a store so no local SEO required.

Technology:
Our website is built on WordPress with WooCommerce
We are using a plugin to setup our compatibility finder
We also use Yoast for SEO and some other custom code for

Requirements:
Over 1000 pages including brand pages and also product pages are missing from Google. We also have very poor rank for the pages that have been indexed by Google so we will need to optimise the on-site content based on your recommendations and our competitors.

– Technical SEO Skills
– On-Page SEO Skills
– Link building & off-site SEO

The Job:
We need you to conduct a thorough SEO audit and plan for the website. We need you to start with a technical SEO audit looking at our current website and content, sitemap, links, page structure, breadcrumbs, header tags and meta content and advise on what changes need to be made to our developers. Some development work may be requited so you will need to have the skillset to identify any issues and brief in our team of developers.

You will then (with the help of us) have to roll out the fixes and content.

We believe that we’re having issues with duplicate content, bad site navigation structure and discovered but not yet indexed results.

Once the site is up to standard and the technical and on-site work has been completed, we will require some high quality link building to increase authority and rank.

Hours:
We would ideally like somebody that can spend some time working a few days a week. Ideally 15 or so hours would be fine to begin. We understand that this work can take time to really audit and fix so we are happy to work around your schedule.
