Job Description:

As a Technical SEO Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our online presence. You will be responsible for optimizing our website’s technical elements to ensure that search engines can efficiently crawl, index, and rank our pages. Your expertise will be invaluable as we establish and grow our digital footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

* Technical SEO Audit: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits of our website using tools like Screaming Frog or similar SEO software. Identify and prioritize issues affecting search engine performance.

* On-Page Optimization: Collaborate with our content team to ensure on-page elements, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and structured data, are optimized for SEO best practices.

* Crawl Management: Implement strategies to manage website crawls efficiently, ensuring that search engines can access our content without impediments.

* XML Sitemaps: Create and maintain XML sitemaps to assist search engines in indexing our content. Regularly update and submit sitemaps.

* Page Speed Optimization: Identify and address issues affecting page load speed and mobile performance. Collaborate with developers to improve site speed.

* Redirect Management: Effectively manage redirects, especially in the case of site structure changes, page URL updates, and resolving 404 errors.

* Structured Data: Implement structured data and schema markup to enhance search engine results with rich snippets.

* Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about our industry and competitors, identifying SEO trends, and potential areas for improvement.

* Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Provide regular reports on SEO metrics and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Technical SEO Specialist, with a strong focus on new website launches.
* In-depth knowledge of SEO tools, especially Screaming Frog, for technical audits and analysis. Has Screaming Frog as well.
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development practices.
* Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
* Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO-related tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication skills to articulate technical SEO issues and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
