Job Description

is a UK based internet company who is currently seeking an enthusiastic person with a passion for using IT and web technologies to work as part of our dynamic team.

Our company builds web services and software for the radio/broadcasting industry. This position requires providing excellent customer service, and tech support for our long list of clients, on a very busy helpdesk. You’ll report directly to the Customer Support Manager, and will need to have a personable approach to talking to clients via live chat and email systems. You should also be able to prioritise issues and take a proactive approach to provide clients with timely, frictionless resolutions to their issues.

Key Responsibilities:

– In this role you will be supporting the UK based support team, usually out of UK office hours.
– Provide excellent customer service and technical support to our customers via email, and live chat.
– Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
– Customer mobile app admin (includes building from a template), ensuring that they meet our high-quality standards.
– Respond to customer complaints and provide effective solutions to resolve them.
– Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their requests and any issues that arise.
– Collaborate with other team members to improve customer service processes and procedures.

Essential Skills:

– Above all, a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
– You must have at least 12 months experience working on a customer facing helpdesk.
– Great communication skills in English, and comfortable talking with customers over the phone/IM/Video call.
– A positive attitude and aspires to please people.
– Ambitious and target driven with desire to achieve great things.
– Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Desired Skills:

– Online radio including live broadcasting software.
– Experience with “Intercom” or a similar customer service platform.
– Basic understanding of the Linux command line interface.
– Use of MacOS and Atlassian Jira Software.

Notes:
– This is a fully remote position on a freelance basis with full-time hours and the equivalent salary/holidays.
– Full training on the platform will be provided.
– Access to a personal computer is required (Mac based preferred).
