Technical Systems Apprentice

This position will work directly with our Director of Technology and assist them with transposing video captions from English to Spanish and the migration of our website from WordPress to Shopify. They will also assist with additional projects and learn a wide range of technical skills.
Qualifications:
-Experience in a variety of online systems
-Competent in being resourceful in systems navigation
-Ability to analyze a system for proper use and optimization
-Ability to research and analyze alternative systems for the purposes of continuous improvement
-Basic coding knowledge in WordPress and Shopify would be beneficial
Essential Responsibilities:
-Assist in the migration of content in WordPress to Shopify
-Transposing video captions from English to Spanish
-Using systems diagnose and solve systems issues
-Assist lead developer with website maintenance
-Assist with implementation of new systems
-Documentation of processes
System Requirements: Owns a laptop or a desktop computer that can do basic research, operate website and email platforms. Internet with at least 100mbps speed.
Working Conditions: Candidate can work from anywhere, with reliable internet access. They must be able to communicate in a clear and prompt manner. It is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. Salary is paid monthly. There will be daily communications with team members in the Philippines and the US. Half of the work time will be on the US time schedule and the other half of the work hours are flexible.
