THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Technical Training – Team Lead that will provide world class learning delivery methods. This person must showcase the ability to manage virtual learning groups, advance learning techniques and methods as well as develop learning metrics to evaluate progress and come up with ways to address learning gaps.
We operate a range of services to support our customers in running eCommerce stores, selling on the Amazon marketplace. We have two core products, one a lead service that provides information on where to find a product that you can buy low, resell high, for a profit on the Amazon marketplace. The second service is a recruitment and training service for virtual assistants to work within other Amazon sellers’ businesses.
Over the last year, we have nearly doubled our headcount, and this shows no signs of slowing down as we now expand into the USA market.
All our content, services and products are educational based around training and supporting our clients in selling on the Amazon marketplaces alongside our own Amazon Business, which is separate to this.
The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
KEY RESULT AREA #1: Virtual Facilitation
Conduct virtual training programs
Manage the session by ensuring that all agreements in a virtual session is complied
Manage training expectations and ensure that the learning objectives are met
Monitor learner’s progress and perform necessary support activities
Performance Metrics: No. of trainees passed the program and program reviews and evaluation result
KEY RESULT AREA #2 VA Academy Administration and Coordination
Create periodic Training Plan ensuring that all resources like licenses, links, documents, trainer pool are complete and functioning
Collaborate with Pool of Trainers ensuring training quality compliance
Gather and document activities and results of training
Update trackers, training systems and tools
Performance Metrics: Complete and updated trackers, Training Plan and relevant documents or files
KEY RESULT AREA #3 Program Enhancement
Update program materials and all related sources as needed
Introduce new methods and learning techniques dictated by new trends and global market updates
Conduct periodic review and analysis of training data as basis in creating an improved training plan to address learning gaps
Performance Metrics: Complete and accurate periodic training reports, Updated program materials
KEY RESULT AREA #4 Aftercare Support
Assist the After Care Support team in providing performance coaching support
Conduct follow-through sessions, over the shoulder, and other available modes to further strengthen the core learnings of the trainees after deployment to client
Performance Metrics: Number of support activities conducted and managed attrition
KEY RESULT AREA #5 Project Management
Collaborate with different departments/ business units on improvement projects
Performance Measures: Project completion and timeline
THE REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Psychology, from a reputable university (or any-related course);
At least 5 years total working experience
At least 2 years in a team lead role or equivalent
At least 2 years in a customer service support role
At least 1 year experience in designing, developing, and conducting programs
Preferably from a service-based or retail background
