MW is searching for a personable, thorough Technical Writer – Oversees the development of multiple Request for Proposals (“RFP”), Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFIs) responses for our suite of products and services, work cross-functionally and coordinating with our Sales teams to make an impact on our ability to win deals. The Technical/Content Writer responsibilities include understanding both prospect and client needs and managing the RFP response from start to finish: from authoring and editing content to finalizing and submitting responses. You will utilize core messaging, product positioning content, and our existing response library to develop compelling answers to the questions outlined in each proposal while ensuring all responses are accurate, timely, and in line with company standards, brand, and direction.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees the development of proposals and/or other documents describing services in response to requests from prospective clients and/or current clients when up for renewal
• Ensures all RFP responses are submitted on time by demonstrating a sense of urgency and initiative
• Utilizes core messaging, product positioning content, and the answer bank to help creatively develop and write compelling answers to the questions being asked in the proposal
• Maintains RFP database that includes the FAQ / Technical / Legal / Product answers
• Maintains all RFP supporting documents that include standard operating procedure documentation, proposal templates, cover letters, acceptance criteria documentation
• Develops and maintains a technical understanding of the software so that technical details can be clearly and strategically communicated
• Becomes an expert with Morgan Wendellman products, features, and benefits and develops a deep understanding of the market and industry trends as well as clients’ needs

Qualifications & Skills:
• 3+ years supporting software bid/proposals desired but not required
• Attention to detail; keen eye on details for accuracy
• Written and oral communication skills; good time management
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to accept and incorporate constructive feedback
• Strong organization skills that allow the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive responses
• Provide customer service as first point of contact
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Methodical thinker with detailed research proficiencies.
