Season 2 Consign invites applications for a proactive and skilled Technologist/Developer to bolster our franchise system’s tech infrastructure.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our tech stack, addressing and resolving technological issues expediently, and facilitating the seamless integration of new technologies. This person will lead the charge in launching new Shopify stores, setting up and managing social media and ad accounts, and equipping franchisees with the necessary tech tools for success, and training new team members. A significant part of this role involves direct engagement with our HQ team and franchisees to ensure their tech environments are optimized for performance. Additionally, this role extends to the realm of analytics, where the person will be responsible for aggregating, analyzing, and presenting key data to inform and shape the company’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Tech Stack Oversight: Manage and maintain the operational integrity of our primary tech stack, ensuring all components function seamlessly.
Franchisee Support: Provide comprehensive tech support to franchisees, resolving tech stack issues and ensuring a smooth operational Expansion
Leadership: Oversee the technical aspects of new franchise store launches on Shopify, including site design, navigation, domain setup, and the establishment of social media and ad accounts.
Tech Account Setup: Ensure franchisees are fully onboarded with all necessary tech accounts, facilitating their integration into our digital ecosystem.
Tech Integration and Updates: Spearhead the integration of new technologies and updates, maintaining system efficiency and compatibility.
Analytics and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and present analytics reports covering KPIs, sales data, and consumer behavior to inform the company’s strategic decisions.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve tech-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Training and Ongoing Support: Offer detailed training and support to HQ staff and franchisees, ensuring proficiency with our systems and updates.
Strategic Engagement: Participate in weekly strategic meetings and conduct pre-launch tech clarity calls with franchisees to ensure technological readiness and address concerns.
New Enhancements: conceptualize and build or integrate new enhancements to the website for customer experience.
Requirements:
**Knowledge and understanding of HTML is required, experience in Shopify customization is preferred.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years in a tech support role, preferably with franchise or retail sector experience.
Technical Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in coding and a deep understanding of our specified tech stack and digital platforms.
Analytical Prowess: Strong capability in data analysis and reporting, with experience in generating and interpreting analytics reports to guide business strategy.
Communication Skills: Exceptional English communication skills, capable of distilling complex technical and analytical insights for a non-technical audience.
Public Speaking Comfort: Must be comfortable with public speaking, including presenting reports and conducting virtual meetings and training sessions.
Adaptability: Agile in a fast-paced environment, readily adapting to new technologies and system updates as needed.
