As our Technology Manager, you will oversee the health, security, and, on occasion, the selection of our technology infrastructure.

We’ve adopted Microsoft 365 and Teams for productivity and collaboration, Trello for project management, and Xero for our financial operations.

Our team is dispersed across New Zealand and the Philippines, serving a global customer base. You’ll have ample opportunity to leave your mark as we’re in the process of choosing the right platforms for CRM, marketing, HR, payroll, course delivery, security, and other critical functions.

You will be a linchpin in optimizing our digital workflows and communication tools. Your skill in managing platforms like CRM, Trello, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Power Platform will be vital for boosting collaboration, productivity, and efficiency throughout our team. Ensuring robust online security will be a major part of your role to give us all peace of mind.

You’ll need to be versatile, as you’ll wear many hats in this role. As we grow, expect to focus more on specialized functions. For now, we’re looking for a true “Jack of all trades.” There will be abundant opportunities for you to refine your skills and find your niche as we expand.

We operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. While we don’t expect you to know everything, we do expect a willingness to learn and adapt. If you excel in 90% of your role, we’re happy to support you in mastering the remaining 10%.

Responsibilities:

Microsoft Teams Coordination
-Set up, configure, and manage Microsoft Teams channels, groups, and permissions.
-Foster a team culture that values collaboration by providing best practices and training sessions on Teams usage.
-Keep abreast of new features in MS Teams and explore automation opportunities to maximize productivity.

Microsoft Power Platform
-Explore and implement ways to utilize Microsoft Power Platform to optimize our operations.
-Develop and maintain custom apps and automated workflows.
-Continuously educate yourself on Power Platform’s evolving features to extend its utility in our organization.

Microsoft 365 Administration
-Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions across Microsoft 365 applications.
-Configure SharePoint sites and optimize document libraries for effective file sharing and collaboration.
-Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure data protection and compliance.

CRM Management (Platform TBD)
-Administer and streamline our CRM platform to better support our sales and marketing teams.

Trello Oversight
-Work with cross-functional teams to design efficient workflows in Trello.
-Investigate opportunities for automation and implement them where appropriate.

Security Management
-Manage LastPass to ensure secure password management and sharing across the organization.
-Continuously monitor cybersecurity trends and recommend protective measures.

Integration and Automation
-Identify and implement opportunities to integrate CRM, Trello, MS Teams, and Microsoft 365 for seamless data sharing and workflow automation.

Training and Support
-Conduct staff training sessions for optimized use of our digital tools.
-Provide ongoing tech support and serve as the liaison for external service tickets, including those for CRM, Xero, and Microsoft.

General Duties
-Maintain updated technology documentation in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
-Make outsourcing recommendations for specialized skill sets as needed.

Reporting
-Create custom reports from systems like Xero and CRM.
-Have the ability to amalgamate datasets from different systems into a single, coherent report or dashboard.
