We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Telemarketer to join our team. You will be responsible for making outbound calls, conducting research, and qualifying leads to support our sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Utilise cold calling and research techniques to identify and qualify potential leads in the Australian loans industry.
2. Lead Management: Efficiently manage, track, and follow up on leads by making persuasive phone calls to nurture relationships and move leads through the sales process.
3. Sales Appointments: Conduct engaging product presentations over the phone, convincing prospects to book sales appointments with our brokers. (We require a minimum of 5 appointments per day)
4. Sales Goals: Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals by consistently achieving set targets and contributing to the success of our team.
5. Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system, ensuring all relevant information is properly documented.
5. Sales Database Management: Regularly update the sales database with new leads and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
6. Marketing Contributions: Provide valuable insights and suggestions for marketing and promotional ideas to enhance our services and attract more leads.
7. Online Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the team to formulate effective online sales strategies that align with the Australian loans industry and the unique needs of our clients.
8. Training and Collaboration: Participate in prescribed training programs coordinated by the Sales Manager and Team Lead to continuously improve your skills and stay up- to-date with industry trends.
9. Customer Tracking: Respect customer preferences regarding future contact and keep track of customers who have been contacted, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
10. Customer Follow-up: Follow up with previous customers to explore potential sales opportunities and maintain long-term relationships.
11. Document Management: Efficiently follow up with clients to obtain any required documents, ensuring a smooth and seamless processing experience.
Qualifications:
1. With a minimum of 3 years of experience as a telemarketer.
2. Demonstrating exceptional English speaking skills – a seasoned professional who has achieved success in telemarketing to Australian companies in the past.
3. Exhibiting a neutral accent and a proven track record of securing appointments for Australian sales staff through telesales.
4. Capable of making a high volume of calls necessary to drive new business.
5. Holding a Bachelor’s/College degree or having completed a Business-related course, which is highly desirable.
6. Displaying drive, assertiveness, passion, and dedication to achieving success, while understanding that the role is highly transparent and subject to close scrutiny based on performance.
7. Proficient in computer skills, particularly in MS Office, with an eye for detail. Able to work independently and learn about products/services to effectively describe and explain them to prospects.
8. Possessing a composed temperament and the ability to handle rejection while swiftly moving on to the next appointment. Possessing outstanding negotiation skills to resolve issues and address complaints.
