Job Description

We are excited to introduce a new B2B cold calling campaign for our accounting firm, Mercian Accountants, specialising in Accountancy, Tax, and Business Advice. This is a new initiative for us, and if successful, it could lead to a long-term position.

Job Details:
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (London, UK time), Monday to Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Role: Cold calling small and medium business owners to introduce our firm and discuss potential improvements in their accounting services and tax savings, including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, accounts, and tax.

Experience:
Prior cold calling or sales experience is essential.
Leads Sourcing: you will be experienced source your own leads using platforms such as Google, Companies House, and LinkedIn.
Tracking: Keep a detailed record of calls and activities in a Spreadsheet or CRM.

Tools Provided:
A VOIP phone account with a direct dial UK phone number.
A UK mobile number for WhatsApp and Text messages accessible through your web browser.
An Office 365 account for Outlook email on our company domain.

Must-Haves:
Mature: Demonstrate a mature approach and professional demeanour in all interactions.
Telemarketing Experience: Previous experience in telemarketing and sales.
Excellent Spoken English: Exceptional verbal communication skills with a very clear accent, ensuring effective and professional communication with UK organisations.

Experience: Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Remote Work: Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks independently.
