Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telemedicine Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team for established and growing company.. As a key member of our virtual clinic, and physical clinic you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare delivery through telemedicine services and working remote being a medical asssistant or nurse. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, medical clinical experience, a strong grasp of technology, be comfortable handling call center duties, and have experience with physician charts, EHR records, medical billing, and claims. Preferably, the candidate will have a background as a nurse medical assstant, clinical pharmacist, or physician.

Responsibilities:
1. Patient Support:
– Provide exceptional patient support during telemedicine consultations.
– Work with clinic patients seen in clinic at phsical location,
– Assist in collecting and updating patient medical histories.
– Guide patients through virtual check-ins and in persson visit. and ensure a seamless experience.
– Respond to platforms for consultation promptly and professionally.
– Communicate with patients on platforms to address queries and provide information.

2. Technology Proficiency:
– Navigate and utilize telemedicine platforms efficiently.
– Be receptionist also to greet patients for check in lobby at clinic or online
– Troubleshoot technical issues during virtual consultations.
– Collaborate with the IT team to enhance the telehealth infrastructure.
– Work with Electronic Health Records (EHR) to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.

3. Clinical Assistance:
– Aid healthcare providers during virtual examinations and procedures.
– Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
– Assist with physician charts and notes, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
– Utilize strong clinical skills to contribute to the overall quality of patient care.
– Assist with medical billing and claims processing.

4. Call Center Duties:
– Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments.
– Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in all patient interactions.
– Manage call volumes effectively, ensuring timely responses to patient needs.

5. Administrative Support:
– Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
– Collaborate with the administrative team to optimize workflow processes.
– Assist in organizing and coordinating telemedicine events or campaigns.
– Coordinate with the team and physicians for seamless patient care delivery.

Qualifications:
– Medical Assistant certification with clinical experience.
– Preferably a background as a nurse, medical asssistant, clinical pharmacisst, or physician.
– Proficient in using telemedicine platforms and general technology.
– Strong clinical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.
– Familiarity with call center operations is a plus.
– Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), medical billing, and claims.
– Empathetic and patient-focused approach to healthcare delivery.
Part Time, Full Time, PRN, AM shifts, PM shifts, and Weekend shifts
2 shifts AM 8am CST to 4pm CST and PM Shift 4pm to 12aml
