Job Description

We are a growing e-commerce company looking for a temporary Product Assistant to help with our business.

A majority of the work will consist of researching new products & brands, uploading products to our website, and updating existing product listings when necessary. However, there might also be a need to assist with other areas of the business such as order processing and/or customer service if the need arises.

This job requires extremely high attention to detail, patience and the candidate must be a very careful and attentive person. You must also have proficient English writing and speaking skills as you may occasionally need to email, chat, or speak on the phone with customers or vendors.

Main Duties include:
• Researching new and relevant products/brands
• Uploading new products
• Updating existing product listings to include the most accurate and up to date information
• Coordinating with new and existing vendors regarding product details, ordering processes, lead times, etc.
• Checking and managing product quantities and lead times
• Maintaining product and vendor databases with accurate pricing and details
• Maintaining other aspects of our website
• Working with other team members to resolve product or website issues
• Solving order issues with suppliers and customers
• Other basic operations and administrative tasks

Preferred Experience with below:
• Previous product management and/research for other E-commerce companies
• Shopify
• Airtable
• Google Sheets
• Website scraping tools

Working times would be US working hours. Training is provided and compensated. There will be an initial 1-month trial period.

Just want to make sure you are good with the following:
1. Your work schedule will consist of 40 hours per week
2. You will be able to work from 10 PM – 7 AM (1-hour break) PHT, 5 days a week
3. You have excellent English speaking skills and are ok with occasionally speaking with customers and suppliers over the phone
4. You will send me an email every day at the end of your shift (this is a must) with the following questions answered:
a. What did you do today? (detailed description)
b. What issues did you run into?
c. Is there anything I can help you with?
