We are currently looking for a Test Analyst / Developer. Please read the job description below.

Job Overview:
Test Analyst / Developer plays a pivotal role in software development and delivery.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Write and execute test scripts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Complete documentation outlining the results of tests.
• Document Test Plans for large projects and software releases.
• Estimate effort required to test customer initiatives/projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test capabilities across the organisation.
• Move towards an automated regression test suite for the Iconyx software suite.
• Provide input into the Software Development Team, highlighting new functionality/areas for improvement derived from your own experience with the software suite.

Skills and Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and hosted software infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a technical team and communicate effectively with others.
• A high level of drive and initiative with good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• In addition, the following are desirable:
In-depth knowledge of mapping technology, GIS, and spatial data applications.
In-depth knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products.

Qualifications:
• Knowledge in C#/PHP/Python/JS
• Knowledge in MSSQL, MySQL
• Understanding of web frameworks vs desktop frameworks
• Willingness to learn ML, Deep Learning, and computer vision
• Willingness to learn the financial markets and how to manage money
• Tertiary qualifications required in Computing or equivalent discipline.
