Role
The TikTok specialist will be responsible for leading our client’s TikTok accounts and managing all the elements involved to reach their desired goals. This person will know exactly what it takes to make a brand successful on TikTok from highly engaging creatives to bringing new and innovative ideas to the table. We already have paid media specialists in the team who have experience running TikTok ads but we need someone who can direct and lead on the entire strategy but predominantly from an organic perspective.
Responsibilities
– Develop and execute TikTok strategies in line with our client’s requirements
– Plan and research content in line with our client’s marketing calendar and the latest trends
– Use your knowledge of the platform to advise clients and the team on the best way to execute trends
– Develop tactics for growing followers and engagement (and ultimately sales) across each TikTok account meeting ambitious targets
– Working closely with the wider team to ensure every piece of work is being delivered in the right time frame and to brief
– Brief content through our creative team and creators/influencers
– Directing our creative team when it comes to editing the content (A bonus if you can edit yourself if needed.)
– Constantly come up with new ideas for the accounts you’re working on and sharing these with the wider team
– Monitor, track and report on TikTok performance
Results
Meet established deadlines set with the client
Work with the wider team on maintaining a minimum retention rate of 90% or greater
Manage all campaigns within approved budgets
Requirements
– Understanding of TikTok inside out and has a real passion for the platform
– Experience working in a similar TikTok role (for an agency is desirable)
– Ability to work well with the paid specialist and the creative teams.
– Experience with executing new ideas and owning the strategy for the brands
– Having a network of creators is a bonus
– Knowledge of TikTok itself, including filming, editing and features
– Experience working with numerous brands, in-house or agency
– Experience in content creation and presentation of ideas
– You must be extremely creative, and have the ability to develop new ideas
– An understanding of social media analytics and how to apply learnings
– Very organised, with high attention to detail
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– An innate ability to build rapport with clients and teammates
– An eye for detail
– Obsessive organisation and responsiveness to the clients and to the team
– Professional presentation/work approach and a helpful, supportive spirit
– A problem solver with the ability to prioritise and work autonomously, and the initiative to drive solutions
– Ability to work independently and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a high workflow
– A service-oriented individual with high energy and a positive and friendly demeanor
– Always trend-savvy on the latest digital technologies and platform changes
