## **About Us:**

Labrador Partners is technology-based land investment firm specializing in identifying, acquiring, developing, and selling real estate. We focus on strategic land investments throughout the United States. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented title examiner to join our dynamic team.

## **Position Overview:**

We are looking for a title examiner to play a critical role on our team. Work will include reviewing contracts, reviewing title commitments, identifying clouds on title, and working with the title company to remove clouds. Besides communicating with the title company, the title examiner will also coordinate with both the acquisitions and dispositions teams. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.

This position is fully remote. Strong computer skills are a necessity. Applicant must be comfortable and effective working remotely through software.

## **Responsibilities:**

– Prioritize work by most profitable deals and highest value tasks
– Maintain a detailed record of all correspondence by deal
– Maintain a detailed record of title issues and contract terms by deal
– Present findings and make investment recommendations to senior management
– Collaborate with acquisitions team, dispositions team, escrow team, agents, and external contractors

## **Qualifications:**

– Proven experience 5 years in title companies or real estate investment or related sectors.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate complex findings and recommendations effectively.
– Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

## **Hours:**

Main working hours are 8 am to 5 pm CST, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to set your own hours.

## **Employment Type:**

This is an independent contractor position, with potential to transition to a permanent employee position following a successful probationary period.

## **Compensation:**

$10 – $15 USD per hour
