Job Title: Training Coordinator – Project Based Contract – Ad hoc work
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Training Coordinator to join our team. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs to support the professional development and skill enhancement of our employees. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop training plans and curricula to address those needs.
-Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, including booking venues, arranging for trainers or facilitators, and managing participant registrations.
-Develop training materials, resources, and presentations, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with learning objectives.
-Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, utilizing various instructional techniques and methods to engage participants and enhance learning outcomes.
-Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
-Maintain training records and documentation, including attendance records, training completion certificates, and training evaluation reports.
-Assist in the administration of learning management systems (LMS), including course catalog management, user access, and reporting.
-Provide support and guidance to employees participating in training programs, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing additional resources as needed.
-Stay current with industry trends, developments, and best practices in training and development, and incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in training coordination, instructional design, or a related role, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.
-Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
-Proficiency in training development tools and software, such as learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and multimedia resources.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
-Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all training-related activities.
-Customer-focused attitude with a passion for supporting employee development and growth.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
-Professional certifications in training and development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, Certified Training and Development Professional) are a plus.
