Job Description

DebugPest Control is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Training Designer and Workflow Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to build and optimize workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all training documents related to our policies and procedures. This includes but is not limited to Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Pest Control Technicians, Human Resources, Payroll, and more. This position is heavily administrative and focused on document creation and management.

Key Responsibilities

– Document Creation: Develop comprehensive training documents, workflows, and SOPs for various departments.
– Administrative Work: Handle the heavy administrative workload associated with the creation and management of training materials.
– Platform Management: Upload and manage training documents in Trainual; ensure seamless integration and migration of information from Paylocity.
– Technology Utilization: Leverage various technologies and tools for efficient document creation and management.
– Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of accuracy and detail in all documentation.
– Project Management: Work independently on projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company standards.
– Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update training materials to ensure they are current and effective.

Qualifications

– Proven experience in training design, workflow creation, and SOP documentation.
– Proficiency in Trainual is preferred; familiarity with Paylocity is a plus.
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
– Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong organizational and project management skills.
– Document Creation and Management:
– Proficiency in Microsoft Word for drafting and formatting documents.
– Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management.
– Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating training presentations.
– Expertise in Adobe Acrobat for creating, editing, and managing PDF documents.
– Training and Workflow Platforms:
– Proficiency in Trainual for creating, managing, and delivering training content.
– Familiarity with Paylocity
– Project Management Tools:
– Knowledge of for comprehensive project and workflow management.
– Collaboration and Communication Tools:
– Proficiency in Slack for team communication and collaboration.
– Graphic Design and Media Creation:
– Proficiency in Canva for creating visually appealing training materials.
– Experience with Snagit for screen capturing and recording tutorials or similar technology
– Familiarity with AI Tools for AI-assisted content creation and documentation.
– Content Management Systems (CMS) and Knowledge Bases:
– Proficiency in creating, organizing, and sharing knowledge and documents.
– Familiarity with automating workflows and integrating different apps.

Preferred Skills

– Training and Development: Background in training and development, particularly in a corporate setting.
– Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements in training documentation.
