Offshore Virtual Assistants, a well-respected Australian Outsourcing company, is looking for a skilled Travel Accounts Administrator to champion accuracy and efficiency in diverse accounting tasks to work with our Sydney-based client, a leading family-owned travel management company.

Full-time role. Philippines time 7.00 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Travel Booking Tasks
? Bank reconciliations: Reconciling bank statements with Tramada records and ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
? Customer deposits reconciliations: Reconciling customer deposits with Tramada records and ensuring all bookings are confirmed and invoiced.
? Accounts payable: Processing supplier invoices and payments using Tramada and ensuring all expenses are allocated correctly.
? Accounts receivable: Issuing customer invoices and receipts using Tramada and ensuring all payments are collected on time.
? Statements/Invoicing: Generating and sending invoices to customers using Tramada and ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
? Data entry: Entering and updating data in Tramada and ensuring all information is accurate and consistent.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Previous experience as a VA and or travel consultant for Australian clients
? Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
? Strong customer service and organisational skills
? Experience using Tramada for back-office purposes:
? You must have a strong knowledge of Tramada and its accounting features and functions. You must be able to use Tramada to perform various accounting tasks with ease and confidence.
? Beginner understanding of Excel: for statement preparation and other misc tasks
? 1-2 years of experience in finance, ideally in the travel industry:
? You must have a proven track record of handling accounting tasks in a travel-related environment and be familiar with the travel industry standards and regulations.

TYPE OF PERSON:
? Recent tourism qualifications or previous experience in the travel industry
? High level of GDS Experience – Amadeus preferred
? High degree of attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
? Strong time management skills
? Excellent communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can liaise with clients and colleagues professionally and courteously.
