Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transaction Coordinator / Title Coordinator to join our real estate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of real estate transactions from contract to close, ensuring a smooth and timely process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of real estate processes, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

*Transaction Management
– Oversee all aspects of buyer and seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to closing.
– Coordinate with real estate agents, clients, title companies, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure all necessary documentation and information is collected and accurate.
– Monitor transaction progress and ensure all deadlines are met, including inspections, appraisals, and loan approvals.
– Prepare and distribute transaction documents, such as contracts, disclosures, and amendments.
– Maintain detailed and organized transaction files, both electronically and physically.

*Title Coordination:
– Order title commitments and review for accuracy and completeness.
– Resolve title issues, such as liens, encumbrances, and ownership discrepancies.
– Coordinate with title companies to ensure timely issuance of title insurance policies.
– Communicate with clients and agents regarding title issues and provide solutions.

*Communication:
– Serve as the main point of contact for clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
– Provide regular updates to all parties on the status of transactions.
– Address any questions or concerns from clients and agents promptly and professionally.

*Compliance and Documentation:
– Ensure all transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
– Keep abreast of changes in real estate laws and regulations.
– Prepare and submit necessary compliance documentation to relevant authorities.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– Proven experience in real estate transaction coordination or a related field.
– Strong understanding of real estate contracts, title procedures, and escrow processes.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in real estate software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– A real estate license is a plus but not required.
