Translation Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Translation Project Manager to oversee our translation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of translation, from initial client consultation to the delivery of the final product. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in project management tools, and a deep understanding of language services.
Responsibilities:
• Account Acquisition
• Coordinate and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for both clients and translation teams, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction on all sides.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Create detailed project plans to track progress, manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Assemble and coordinate the project staff, including translators, proofreaders, and technical support.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and handle any arising issues or complexities related to the project.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation, managing third-party vendor relationships as necessary.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and report on project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications:
• Proven working experience in project management, specifically in translation or localization projects.
• Strong familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.
