Transportation Manager for a Growing Expedited Transport Company

Salary: Up to $800 per month, based on experience

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) (60 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of our expedited transport services.
Expertly handle and swiftly resolve operational issues, maintaining high standards of service and reliability.
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate closely with dispatchers and drivers, overseeing scheduling and conflict resolution.
Monitor performance, manage relationships with clients and vendors, and ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations.
Responsible for hiring, training, and if necessary, firing staff to ensure a competent workforce.
Uphold safety and quality standards across all aspects of operations.
Requirements:

Extensive management experience in transportation or logistics, with proven ability to handle operational issues effectively.
Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and managing staff, including making tough decisions about employment status.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
In-depth knowledge of the U.S. geography and state regulations affecting transportation.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and resilience, with the capacity to manage operations under pressure.
Must be able to work a 60-hour week, from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time.
Must have a reliable phone and be available to handle communication and routing calls as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in USA dispatching and management within the transportation industry.
Proven ability to handle issues with drivers and customers effectively, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
