Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Provide consultations with potential and current clients to assist them in making vacation plans with our company.
Work with suppliers to create vacation packages and itineraries for clients.
Book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other tour reservations through the supplier booking systems, accurately and efficiently.
Oversee all stages of the travel management process including client care, and confirming travel arrangements.
Be responsive to clients throughout the planning process.
Meet all KPIs established for the position
Document all information in the CRM to track contacts and the stages of the planning process.
Utilize various applications, including GDS, online booking tools, and various internal applications.
Represent our agency by embracing the company values and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience in leisure travel sales.
Strong knowledge of booking platforms for leisure travel.
Working knowledge of federal travel regulations.
Experience booking international travel.
Strong customer service orientation with proven ability to establish and develop relationships.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams) & Google Workplace ( Sheets, Docs, Google Chat )
Experience using a CRM to enter and track activities.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.
Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely, while also being open to receive feedback and direction as needed.
Able to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
Able to present a professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers/clients and work cooperatively.
Ability to work remotely and able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time, without leaving the work area.
Hours will vary seasonally. Preferable hours needed will be between 7 am and 7 pm EST, as well as possibly after hours or on weekends to provide coverage for out-of-office events.
