Travel Blog Content Writer! (6-month Full Time Contract)

We are searching for a full time (40 hours per week) super star Travel Blog Content Writer for an initial 6 month contract with the view of extending it to a full time role.
Our travel blog has grown in leaps and bounds and we would love the help of an experienced SEO writer to help us create even more engaging and useful content for our readers.
The ideal candidate would have an understanding of SEO best practices, be good at researching and writing travel related topics, and be able to update and optimize existing posts too.
Additionally, we will give you all the necessary tools (AI access, Quillbot, Keysearch, Canva and more), and provide training in our way of working so you are equipped for success.
If you love writing and creating top quality travel content, have a keen eye for detail, good level of English, and blogging or SEO experience then this would be an excellent opportunity for you!
Please note that once we vet your Resume, we may request you to do a short task to allow you to practically showcase your talents and experience. Thereafter, the final candidates will be invited to a Zoom interview with us before we make our final decision.
Note: Added bonus – while this is an initial 6-month contract, you will have the opportunity to earn an additional bonus at the end of the period based on results generated throughout the contract term.
*** Responsibilities
With the help of AI tools – research and write at least 3+ new blog posts per week
With the help of AI and other SEO tools – optimize 3+ existing blog posts per week
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Be able to deliver work using Google Docs with proper formatting, ready to upload to WordPress
Be able to take initiative and work independently and remotely
*** Requirements
Good English proficiency is a must
Experience in SEO best practices and have experience optimizing content
Ability to fact check and write original non-plagiarised content
Familiarity with using AI tools (example ChatGPT) and prompting would be advantageous, but training will be provided to the successful candidate
Previous experience as a Content Writer, Blogger, or similar role
