Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant with proficiency in the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the travel industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage travel bookings efficiently. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their travel needs, providing tailored travel solutions, and ensuring a smooth booking process.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Amadeus GDS to book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
Provide expert travel advice and recommendations to clients based on their preferences and budget.
Create customized travel itineraries and packages that meet the unique needs of each client.
Manage travel bookings, including changes, cancellations, and rebookings.
Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company policies and client preferences.
Communicate effectively with clients to confirm bookings, provide travel updates, and address any issues or concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and Amadeus GDS updates.
Handle travel documentation, including visas, passports, and travel insurance.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, client interactions, and transactions in the company’s CRM system.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Agent, or similar role in the travel industry.
Proficiency in using Amadeus GDS for booking and managing travel services.
Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel regulations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with additional GDS systems (e.g., Galileo, Sabre) is a plus.
Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
Fluency in [Language(s)] is preferred.
A degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
