TRAVEL CONTENT EDITOR

Looking for a talented video editor to edit long form travel content and cut them down into shorts.
Please only apply if you have at least 30 hours a week available.

Responsibilities:

Edit long-form content
– Cut unnecessary segments
– Add catchy music and sound work
– Finish editing video in 7 hours
– Create thumbnail from the best moment of video
– Render and upload to YouTube for me to review
– Receive feedback and make last adjustments if needed
– Re-upload and post final draft

Edit short form content
– Cut down most interesting segments of long form video into shorts
– Create 3-5 very enticing and captivating shorts for the audience
– Add catchy and simple subtitles to make the video stand out
– The job here is to bring people to watch the long form content
– Render and upload to YouTube for met to review and upload

Requirements:
– Proven video editing experience with a strong portfolio
– Strong storytelling skills and ability to ask relevant questions.
– Fluent in English and able to fully understand what we say in the videos to subtitle
– Experience with social media platforms for posting and content scheduling

Preferred Qualities:
Passion for storytelling and creativity.
Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.

Compensation:
Competitive initial compensation with opportunities for raises and bonuses as viewership grows. I’m looking for a long-term partner who is 100?dicated with little to no other responsibilities. If I win you are winning with me. I personally have experience of managing and editing channels with above 500k subscribers and I am open to training you to become a better story teller and video editor if I see you as a good fit.
