Job Description

Job Title: Travel Office Manager

Job Overview: Our travel agency is seeking a skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience as a travel consultant and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our travel and tours office, as well as reconciling income, insurance and travel statements.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Sydney Time (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Manila time) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the travel and tours office, ensuring that all activities are running smoothly and efficiently.
Work closely with travel consultants to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, attract new clients, and retain existing ones.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors.
Assist with the preparation of quotations and booking of travel arrangements for clients.
Manage staff schedules, including travel consultants and administrative staff.
Reconcile tickets, insurance, and commission statements to ensure accurate financial records.
Ensure that the office is running in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Ensure that our social media (Facebook and Instagram (once a month)) and website (once,every six months) is maintained and running smoothly. Training will be provided
Participate in hiring and training staff

Requirements

Minimum Skill Requirements:

Previous experience as a travel consultant is required.
Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar role.
Experience with booking systems and travel software, particularly SABRE is a must.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Requirements (Laptop/Desktop):

Processor: At least Intel i3 6th Gen/AMD Ryzen 5 3rd Gen/MAC OS Intel i5 6th Gen
at least Memory: RAM 8GB
at least Windows 10 for Windows, or Catalina or better for MAC OS users
at least 25mbps Postpaid Internet speed
